SMHW's CEO Naimish Gohil met with the Prime Minister to celebrate British Technology Entrepreneurs. Naimish Gohil, the teacherpreneur behind online homework software, Show My Homework, was invited to a reception at No.10 Downing Street with David Cameron to celebrate British Technology Entrepreneurs.
Naimish enjoyed an evening in the Prime Minister’s home, with like-minded technology entrepreneurs. In attendance included Jack Ma, founder and CEO of Alibaba who are opening their European Headquarters, Rohan Silva, former Senior Policy Advisor to David Cameron turned entrepreneur and Eileen Burbidge one of London’s most influential venture capitalists. As well as entrepreneurs from Moshi Monsters, Graze, CityMapper, CarThrottle to name a few.
Naimish commented on the event: “I feel very lucky to have experienced this evening, it was a star studded night with so many incredible entrepreneurs under one roof. Great Britain has a very exciting future ahead with so many fast growing technology businesses creating jobs, wealth and making an impact on a global scale.”
Show My Homework was founded in 2011 and is now currently used in 1 in 5 UK Secondary Schools. The edtech company have had a successful year, securing themselves as one of the leading edtech companies speaking at the Edtech UK launch and Naimish as an entrepreneur to be reckoned with, having been shortlisted for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
